SEASONAL RENTAL
This apartment is rented for temporary stays and complies with current regulations. To complete the reservation, we may ask for the purpose of travel and a brief justification. You will also need to sign the rental agreement and register the guests, as required by law. Thank you for your understanding!
⚠️ First of all, please be aware that there is a karaoke bar on the same street that can generate noise at night, especially if guests stay outside. We would appreciate your help by calling the police or letting us know so we can do so.
The apartment is very well located in the heart of the Barrio de las Letras, an emblematic area for its historic buildings, narrow streets, and for having been home to writers such as Cervantes, Lope de Vega, Góngora, and Quevedo. It is located just a few minutes' walk from Puerta del Sol (10') (2 metro stops from the famous Sol station) and a 3-minute walk from the Antón Martín metro station, 1 metro stop from the Tirso de Molina station, and two stops from Atocha station (the city's main train station and directly connected to the airport via the Airport Express bus or Renfe commuter train), among others.

Located at the end of the hallway, it is equipped with a shower, mirror, sink with cabinet, heated towel rail, towels, soap, and shampoo.

In accordance with Royal Decree 933/2021 of the Ministry of the Interior, we are required to register the details of all tenants, including minors, staying at our property. In addition, in the case of minors, it will be necessary to indicate their relationship to the responsible adult. This regulation is intended to ensure safety and comply with the legal requirements established in Spain.
During the arrival process, we will request the necessary information to comply with this regulation. For more details, please refer to the Official State Gazette (BOE-A-2021-17461). Upon completion of this registration, a temporary rental contract will be formalized, in accordance with current regulations.
Your data will be processed in accordance with data protection regulations and will be used solely for compliance with this legal obligation. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
It is the neighborhood of art and literature par excellence, on Huertas Street you will find paragraphs by famous writers, as well as buildings where they were born or lived.
It is full of charming bars waiting to be a must-see stop on Madrid's famous tapas route. (Casa González on Calle León or La Ferretería on Calle Atocha are my favorites).
Just a few minutes away you can get your fill of art, as you will find spectacular museums such as the Reina Sofia Museum, (later enjoying a delicious Sunday brunch in its café), the Prado Museum, the Thyssen Museum, the Naval Museum and many more.
From the walks, the food to places for lively nights, the Barrio de las Letras is without a doubt the best option as a starting point in Madrid
a)Check in: From 3pm. Guests must register through the chekin link electronically

b)Check out 11hrs. There is a late check-out service (late departure) subject to availability, so you should consult it days before your departure, if possible, and it can be postponed until 2:00 p.m. From 2:00 p.m. the guest must pay the amount proportional to the full day. The cost must be consulted with the host.
c)Guests will be fully responsible for the safety of any children accompanying them throughout their stay, and for any inconvenience caused to other residents of the neighborhood;
d)Guests must reduce noise to a minimum so as not to disturb other residents in the area, especially during hours when they may be sleeping (quiet hours: from ten at night to 9 in the morning) , and when they arrive and leave the property;
e)Excessive noise is prohibited in any case and at any time, and may lead to the end of the guests' stay, eviction, loss of the amount paid for the entire stay;
f)Guests are completely prohibited from behaving in a disrespectful manner toward residents of the area, and must minimize their impact on them and the neighborhood in general.
g) Entry to the property of any person not included in the reservation is prohibited. A fine of €100 per day will be charged for each extra guest who is not registered in addition to the additional fee. If an extra guest wants to spend the night at the property, they must be communicated and approved during the reservation process, and will be subject to any extra fee specified in the final price, as long as it does not exceed the maximum number of people accepted per reservation in the property.
h)Cualquier fiesta o reunión está completamente prohibida.
i)Los huéspedes deberán encargarse de la basura y el reciclaje de acuerdo con los contenedores de basura proporcionados por la propiedad, y no dejarán ningún tipo de residuo en la vivienda, ni zonas públicas.
j)Siempre que los huéspedes salgan de la propiedad, está bajo su responsabilidad asegurarse de que las ventanas y las puertas estén bien cerradas para mantener la seguridad y prevenir daños provocados por la lluvia, entre otros.
k)Los huéspedes tendrán que apagar luces, aires acondicionados, ventiladores y aparatos electrónicos cuando estos no sean necesarios, para ahorrar energía.
l)No se les permite dejar encendido el aire acondicionado cuando no estén en la casa.
m)Queda completamente prohibido fumar en la vivienda, en caso de no cumplir esta norma, se penalizará con 100€ además de cualquier otro gasto derivado de la misma falta (por ejemplo, quemaduras en el mobiliario, limpieza extra antiolores, etc.)
n)Los animales no están permitidos en este alquiler vacacional, en caso de incurrir en esta prohibición se penalizará con 100€ adicionales a los gastos que genere la misma (por ejemplo, limpieza extra, rotura o desperfectos de mobiliario, revestimientos, etc.)
o)Cualquier daño o desperfecto debe ser comunicado lo antes posible a la propiedad. En caso de no ser así se asumirá que el daño se produjo durante la estancia y será cargado al huésped.
p)Si al momento del check out el huésped deja el piso muy sucio el coste adicional por la limpieza extra correrá a cargo del huésped. (15€ por hora extra de limpieza). Tampoco los huéspedes pueden dejar las llaves puestas en la puerta por dentro, porque tendremos que llamar al cerrajero y eso tiene un costo de sobre 150€ según el horario de apertura.
q) Cargo por pérdida de llaves 60€
r)El incumplimiento de cualquiera de estas reglas supone el incumplimiento de las condiciones aplicables a la reserva del alquiler vacacional. El propietario/gestor tiene derecho a terminar el período de estancia del huésped si este no cumple las normas de esta casa o causa molestias a los vecinos y otros residentes de la comunidad.

It is important to know that the apartment is within Madrid Central in a private building on a very active street with bars, restaurants and Madrid life, so it is likely that at some point you may feel noise from the street.
The apartment is on the first floor, without an elevator. To access it, you have to climb steps.
The building's entrance has not been renovated, so it is not visually pleasant.
